Chris & Rhonda: Bradfield Village

We spent a fantastic day recently with Rhonda and Chris for their wedding in Sheffield. Their day was filled with lots of personal touches – Rhonda  wanted an English country fete feel to the day so there was loads of bunting everywhere which had all been made be her friends and family. The church was decked out in white bunting which made for some really great photos outside.

Continuing the feel of the day, the reception was held at Bradfield village hall right next to the village cricket pitch. There was a game going on which really added to the atmosphere. Inside the hall the theme continued with the tables beautifully decorated and more bunting festooned around.

Rhonda, Chris and their guests were great to be around – a really fun bunch which meant we got some ace shots after the meal when everyone was relaxed and letting their hair down a bit!

The night was rounded off by and ace Beatles tribute band who had everyone up and dancing to a bit of ‘Twist & Shout’

Chris and Rhonda, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day. It was beautiful in so many ways and we loved being there with you and your guests

Love and best wishes to you both

These were Rhonda’s first shoes and her wedding shoes. A gorgeous idea I thought. Made me choke up a bit!!

Dawn & Matthew – West Tower

Well aren’t we just rubbish at keeping the blog up to date? We’ve got so much to blog about but so little time! After a hectic couple of months we’ve got 8 weddings and goodness knows how many pre wedding shoots to update you on. I’ll try and do a post every other day and hopefully catch up on all the amazing weddings we’ve been to.

We’ll start with Dawn & Matthew’s amazing wedding over in Lancashire. The weather was amazing and stayed warm (hot even!!) and sunny all day. I spent the morning with Dawn at West Tower for here preparations and Lou joined Matt and the boys.

The ceremony was at St Michael’s church in Aughton and we managed to get some fab shots in the church. then it was back to West Tower for drinks on the lawn and lots of photos in the sunshine.

We had such a fantastic day with Dawn and Matthew and their families and guests and we’d like to send them lots of love and best wishes for a happy future together.

Phil & Lou xx

p.s. please check out our other recent weddings which we’ll try and post over the next few days.
