As you can imagine our work takes around the country to some beautiful places and we get to meet so great and interesting people along the way. We are also on the look out for new locations and one we came across yesterday was the ‘The Old Deanery’ in Ripon North Yorkshire. The Old Deanery was built in 1625 on the site of part of the former monastery of St Wilfred, for use by the Canon-in-Residence and is opposite Ripon Cathedral. It was taken over by Linda last year and has 11 beautifully fitted bedrooms and a fine restaurants that has been voted one of the best in North Yorkshire.
The location and building make this a unique and attractive venue for weddings. Check out their website by clicking here www.theolddeanery.co.uk

I woke up this morning and looked out the window – Wow! what a beautiful day. The weather has been great all week and we were hoping it would last out until today. We are off to shoot the wedding of Sally & Sam today. They location is The Wentrbridge House and is where Lou & I had our wedding reception almost 13 years to the day. So really looking forward to what the day will bring. Fingers crossed this stays like this all day. Check back tomorrow for some shots from the day. Px
