Saturday was an absolutely gorgeous day for a wedding and Helen & Terry had worked so hard to make theirs perfect. The day had started early for me, meeting up with Helen at 9.30AM at the hairdressers. Lou was due to meet up with Terry at Oulton Hall for a quick round of golf but last minute best man shirt issues meant an unscheduled shopping trip instead!

But all was fine in the end, and both Helen and Terry looked fantastic as we all came together at St Mary’s church in Rothwell for a beautiful ceremony.

After the service it was back over to Oulton Hall which was only five minutes away, to get the celebrations underway. Oulton Hall is a stunning venue, and Helen had worked so hard on all the details so the wedding breakfast room looked amazing. The weather was so beautiful too, and it was great to feel the warmth of the sun as we mingled with guests in the gardens – them drinking champagne and us snapping away.

We woke up on Saturday morning and it couldn’t have been a more glorious start to the day! What a great start for the marriage of Michelle & Matthew. The wedding was at Sandburn Hall just outside of York. The room for the ceremony was fabulous and just take a look at the pictures of the cake. I have seen a lot of cakes in my time but not one involving 2 Land Rover’s. You guys are really amazing and the love you have for each other is so inspiring. Enjoy your time over in Australia and we will see you when you get back.   P&L xx
