Barber Photography

Earlier on this week I met up with Anna & Craig for their pre-wedding shoot. As mentioned in the last post the weather this week has been a bit rubbish and it proved to be on Tuesday. We met in a coffee shop and had a chat about their wedding coming up in August. This was in the hope that the rain would blow over. No such luck!!

Anyway we went over to the stables where Anna has a horse and found a barn with some big doors which kicked open. During the shoot we were joined by another member of their family ALFIE. A cute little character who definitely played up to the camera!

Well it has been a busy week behind the scenes also the kids have been off this week because it is half term. Last Friday we spent the day with Angela & Matti in Knaresborough. The weather was great and it really felt like summer had arrived – unlike this week which has felt winter has returned!! We spent our time around the grounds of the castle which was where Matti proposed to Angela. It was lovely to get some pictures where the deed was done. Before that though we went for something to eat down by the river. As it was early and there was a summery feel in the air, we went for what all people would go for and that is Bacon Butties!! Although the owner did try and convince us that we should have a salad with it – a fruit salad at that. I love it when someone shows a real interest in their business but I felt pressurised into taking a salad!!

Anyway Angela & Matti it was great spending time with you on Friday. I have my fingers crossed that we have the same weather for your wedding at the end of June.

I spent Tuesday evening with a local band called Northern Vinyl. Andy Mark and Declan are a great bunch of guys who are experienced musicians. They focus mainly on covers with their set including classics by bands such as The Who, The Jam, The Faces, The Stones as well as current bands of note such as The Fratellis, The View, The Enemy. They play a lot of gigs across Leeds and further afield in Yorkshire. They were looking to update some of their images so we got together on Tuesday night. They want some images of them playing live – so I will be at their gig at the Suburban Style Bar in Bingley on the 29th June.
